Cancellation and No-Show Policy

The Grind Tattoo Shop is committed to providing you with an exceptional tattoo experience and a custom design so that you can be confident you are receiving a unique, one-of-a-kind tattoo. As a result, I ask that you please read and acknowledge our cancellation and no-show policy carefully and consider the commitment when you book an appointment with the Grind Tattoo Shop.

The cancellation and no-show policy for the Grind Tattoo Shop has been thoughtfully put in place to protect the investment of time and resources put into your one-of-a-kind tattoo in order to prepare for your upcoming appointment including time to procure supplies, planning, and design. Please know that implementing this policy was a hard decision for me to make, however, when there is a cancellation without sufficient notice or no-show, I am often unable to fill the scheduled time.

CREDIT CARD REQUIREMENT TO HOLD YOUR APPOINTMENT

The Grind Tattoo Shop now requires a valid credit card to be entered at the time of booking any tattoo or consultation appointment (via our online booking page) for no-show or cancellation protection.

Your card will NOT be charged by the Grind Tattoo Shop at the time of booking an Ink Therapy (tattoo) service unless and your card information will NOT be saved for future appointments (unless you select it to be used for future appointments).

The valid credit credit you are entering will be held solely in the event of a no-show or cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment, as defined by this policy. If you select your card to be saved on-file for payment for appointments, you have the option to pay with this card at your appointment, or pay with an alternative payment. However, cash payments are always preferred. 

Note: Placing an invalid card on file, a card with insufficient funds, or attempting to prevent a cancellation charge from being processed, may result in a permanent ban from our studio.

CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW FEES

• Consultations: $50
If you do not show up to your consultation appointment, or if you cancel within within 48 hours of your consultation, a $50 cancellation/no-show fee will be charged to the credit card you entered upon booking your appointment.

 • Ink Therapy: $100
If you do not show up to your appointment, or if you cancel within within 48 hours of your appointment, a $100 cancellation/no-show fee will be charged to the credit card you entered upon booking your appointment.

Please note, this credit card is only held solely in the event of a no-show or cancellation and will not be saved or used for future appointments or payments.


HOW TO CANCEL

Up to 48 Hours Before Your Appointment
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty up to 48 hours before your appointment. Please click the link in your email or text message to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Any cancellation requests outside of the official booking site will not be accepted - this includes phone calls, text messages, direct messages on social media, email, or other forms of communications outside of the booking site.

Within 48 Hours (2 Days) of Your Appointment Time

If you are certain you're unable to make your appointment, it is imperative that you communicate that as soon as you know. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, please reply to the Square text message with your appointment details or respond to your appointment confirmation email.

RESCHEDULING

If you are unable to keep your appointment, but would like to reschedule for a later date, the Grind Tattoo Shop still requires you to reschedule before the 48-hour cancellation window to avoid the cancellation fee according to the above policy.

Please note: Due to high demand, there may be significant duration between your original appointment and when you are able to reschedule. 

NO-SHOW & CANCELLATION FEE EXCEPTIONS

We are all human and things happen. I understand when difficult situations arise - for both you, the client, and myself, the artist. It is at the sole discretion of the Grind Tattoo Shop to review to determine if a cancellation or no-show fee will be applied. Providing a reason for cancelling does not guarantee any fees will be waived. To waive a cancellation fee will be at the shop's own discretion.
